Silver Necklace Workshop

This is the first time Kelly Mowers will be doing a workshop here at Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum. If you think you know her, you probably do. She’s been here several times with Lenny Novak helping him with the Dreamcatcher Workshops, and you may have also seen her here at the PowWow’s.

Kelly has an Associate Degree in Liberal Art (education and art), a Bachelor of Art Degree in Nonprofit in the Arts, a Master Degree in Business with a thesis directed at the impact of the Arts in the community, 2 classes of study with Alice Carroll a classically trained jeweler now teaching at Sanctuary Arts, and 15+ years making jewelry with Lonewolf Studios, and at Xanadu. 

She will be showing us how to make a 40 inch necklace, made with mixed seed beads, assorted gem and mineral beads, fetishes, and sterling silver with an Antler cross section.

Costs:

$35 for Members and $45 for Non-Members this includes all material needed. Just bring yourself and/or a friend and Scissors.

It’s close to lunch time, bring a bag lunch or we will have snacks available.
