Navajo Weaving Workshop

  • 18 Highlawn Road Warner, NH 03278 USA (map)

Learn about weaving and make something extraordinary with us at MKIM!

The artisan tradition of weaving has been a part of the Navajo culture for over 150 years. Today this craft remains a thriving business and art form in the Four Corners region of the United States. Join us to discover and learn how to create something useful and beautiful.

Althea John, a talented young Navajo woman from New Mexico, will be showing us how her mother and grandmother make beautiful rugs and blankets and the history behind the craft. We will have items on display and also give all participants the opportunity to make weavings of their own.

The cost is $20 for members, or $25 for non-members.
