Native Americans have used the husk of corn to make dolls for over a thousand of years, once corn became a staple food across North America. The tribes in the Northeast would also use them in ceremonies as well. Come learn a little about their history and use as well as how to make these simple dolls. Each participant will make two dolls. While they are easy to make, a young child may need adult assistance. This workshop will be offered for those 5 years old to adults. We hope to be able to work outside on the front porch.

All materials will be provided. The cost is $25 for members or $30 for non-members. This workshop can accommodate up to 20 participants and will be taught by Jill Schock.
