Join Katie Devoid, Anishnaabe, for an educational workshop in wampum bracelet making. This workshop will take place at 10:00 on Saturday, November 2, 2024 as an addition to Beadstock. Please note that admission to Beadstock does not include admission to this workshop.

Wampum refers to the purple and white cut shell of the quahog, or round clam. Regional Natives of the Atlantic seaboard cut this hard shell into beads 1/4" long and 1/8" in diameter, drilling and stringing it for personal decoration as well as trading.
